Riya Sen (Bengali: রিয়া সেন [ˈrija ˈʃen]; born Riya Dev Varma on 24 January 1981) is an Indian film actress and model. Riya, who comes from a family of actors including her grandmother Suchitra Sen, mother Moon Moon Sen and sister Raima Sen, began her acting career in 1991 as a child actress in the film Vishkanya. Her first commercial success in her film career was with Style, a 2001 Hindi low-budget sex comedy directed by N. Chandra. Some of her other films include producer Pritish Nandy’s musical film, Jhankaar Beats (2003) in Hinglish, Shaadi No. 1 (2005) Malayalamhorror film Ananthabhadram (2005).
Riya was first recognised as a model when she performed in Falguni Pathak’s music video Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi at the age of sixteen. Since then, she has appeared in music videos, television commercials, fashion shows, and on magazine covers. She has been a heartthrob sensation throughout India. Riya has worked as an activist and appeared in an AIDS awareness music video with the aim of dispelling popular myths about the disease. She also helped raise funds for pediatric eye-care. Riya has faced controversies such as a MMS clip with actor Ashmit Patel, her semi-nude photograph on photographer Dabboo Ratnani’s annual calendar and her on-screen kisses in a conservative Indian film industry.

Mandira Bedi (Punjabi: ਮੰਦਿਰਾ ਬੇਦੀ, Hindi: मन्दिरा बेदी, born 15 April 1972) is an Indian actress, model and television presenter who gained celebrity status playing the title role in the 1994 television serial, Shanti, shown on India’s national channel, Doordarshan which was the first ever daily soap on Indian television.
A native of Mumbai, Mandira Bedi was born on April 15, 1972 in Kolkata to Verinder Singh Bedi and Gita Bedi. She has her ancestral roots in the Khatri clan of Fazilka, a town in Punjab, 11 kilometres from the India-Pakistan border. Her father worked with ICI on a transferable job but she spent her childhood (age 5 onwards) in Mumbai in South Mumbai. She studied at Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and did her Graduation in Economics from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai followed by a post-graduation in Media from Sophia Polytech, which is also located in Mumbai.

Koena Mitra (Bengali: কোয়েনা মিত্র; born 7 January 1984) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films.
Mitra was born in Kolkata, West Bengal to a Bengali Hindu family. She attended South Point High School and Lady Brabourne College of the University of Calcutta. She has a major in psychology.Mitra was trained with the Mamata Shankar ballet troupe for 12 years. She trained in western dance forms, basketball, swimming and tennis. Her dream was to be an athlete. She started her career too early and that had created a lot of tension in her family; she mentioned that on a TV show right after winning the title. She had almost bag packed and left her house. Mitra was in high school when she won the all India title.
