Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer, better known by her stage name Priyamani (born 4 June 1984), is an Indian film actress and model who has appeared in several Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. She is best known for earning a National Film Award for Best Actress for her role as Muththazhagu in the 2006 Tamil film Paruthi Veeran and for her role as Malavika in the 2008 Malayalam film Thirakkatha, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam.
Priyamani was born in a Tamil Iyer family in Palakkad, Kerala to Vasudeva Mani Iyer and Latha Mani Iyer. She grew up in Bangalore. After completing her schooling, Priyamani modeled for print advertisements. As a result of her extended modeling, she began to earn opportunities to star in films. After being approached by several directors and being considered, she finally starred in director Bharathiraja’s Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, which was released in 2004.

Priya Anand was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu as the only child to a half Telugu, half Marathi father Bharadwaj Anand and a Tamil mother Radha. Because of her mixed regional background, she was brought up in both her parents’ hometowns, Chennai and Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, becoming fluent in Tamil as well as Telugu. Besides her mother tongues, Priya is proficient in English, Bengali, Hindi and Spanish languages as well.

Preetika Rao, is an Indian film actress, model and writer. After a successful career in modelling and then as a film journalist, she made her Tamil debut opposite the very popular Arya in the December 2010 Tamil romantic film Chikku Bukku.
Preetika was born and brought up in Mumbai. She belongs to a Konkani speaking family. Her father owns a prominent advertising agency in Mumbai while her mother is a house-wife. Her elder sister, Amrita Rao, is a award wining Bollywood actress. Preetika did her schooling in CG High School in Prabhadevi and graduated from Sophia College, Mumbai as a History graduate and acquired a diploma in advertising and journalism.
